Delete Your HanReader Account
How to delete a HanReader account and what happens to commerce records and device-local documents.
Delete in the app
Open HanReader Settings, choose Account, then Delete Account. Confirm with a fresh Sign in with Apple authorization. The confirmation prevents another person with access to an unlocked device from deleting your server account.
What is removed
Deletion revokes your HanReader server session and removes or pseudonymizes the account identity, entitlement, and credit records that are not legally required. Transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, and accounting records may be retained for the period required by law. Deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it separately in Apple account settings.
What stays on your device
HanReader does not upload your document library or file list. Your documents, OCR results, vocabulary, notes, bookmarks, and reading position therefore remain on the current device after account deletion. Delete them in HanReader or remove the app and applicable device backups if you also want to erase local data.
If you cannot access the app
Email hanreader@weerocks.com from an address you can access. Tell us that you want to delete your HanReader account. We will request the minimum information needed to verify the request and will never ask for your Apple password or full payment details.
